Being consciously present in the forest

I see the forest in different ways: as a promised land, a utopian realm of gentleness, a source of rich shapes, smells, sounds, and colors. I think of the forest as an escape, a remedy, a respite. At the same time, I find it difficult to take a step into the trees.
And yet, it would only take a few steps, literally a few steps, to dive into this depth, to use its powerful power to soften the edges of reality.

Lately, I have been thinking a lot about the „Power of the Forest” cards, forest bathing, shinrin yoku, art therapy and land art, activities that can be done among tree trunks, on soft moss, in rustling grass.

I think this is a good way out of the darkness of depression.
