Land art

Rysunki z Nazca w Peru, rysunek naziemny

Land art – the art of earth, space, escape from the technologized world, the search for respite, an alternative to traditional gallery art forms.

The format here is the space in which the artistic object is created, the medium is objects found in space, the colors of these objects and their shapes. This medium, I think, also includes natural phenomena that take place here and now. All this is intentionally put together by a person, by an artist.

What I find particularly valuable in land art is the changeability and transformability of a land art work. Left in the place where it was created, it is subject to all natural processes: changes in structure and color, deconstruction, growth, decay/decomposition. It speaks of life.
